The Physical AI market in 2026

The Atlas measures the structure and commercial progress of Physical AI through companies, disclosed capital, product maturity and dated market signals. These figures describe the tracked ecosystem; they are not a revenue forecast for the entire market.

What this market view measures

Physical AI is not one homogeneous industry. Robot makers, autonomy software companies and edge-compute suppliers have different economics, sales cycles and definitions of deployment.

The Atlas therefore avoids turning every available number into a single market-size total. It measures observable company-level signals: disclosed financing, product status, customer or pilot evidence, production claims and dated developments.

Core Physical AI categories exclude Autonomous Mobility, because AV companies have structurally different capital models, regulatory timelines and parent-company effects.

Three regional poles

The regional comparison follows the Atlas classification. Europe is a geographic bucket and includes countries such as the United Kingdom and Switzerland; it must not be interpreted as EU-27.

Market sectors

Category totals are generated from the current Atlas dataset. Open a sector to inspect the companies and their product status rather than relying on an aggregate alone.

Why market-size estimates differ

Published forecasts often include different combinations of industrial robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, simulation software, sensors, semiconductors and services. A similar label can therefore describe materially different markets.

Before comparing two estimates, check the included categories, base year, revenue definition, geographic scope, nominal currency and whether hardware, software and services are counted together.

The Atlas does not convert disclosed funding into market revenue and does not present company count as market share.
